The team, position & mission:
We are looking for a Senior Integration Consultant to join our consulting practice and support strategic data and integration initiatives for clients operating in highly regulated environments, including the banking and financial services sector.
The consultant will help organizations design, implement and evolve modern integration and data ecosystems that enable secure, scalable and efficient information exchange across business applications, data platforms and digital services.
This role combines technical expertise, architectural thinking and stakeholder management. The consultant will work closely with IT, data & business teams to understand requirements, assess existing environments and deliver pragmatic, future‑proof solutions.
The role also encourages the pragmatic use of AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity, accelerate delivery and enhance solution quality.

Your key areas of responsibility as Senior Integration Consultant:Data Integration Architecture
- Assess existing data and integration landscapes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement secure, scalable and maintainable integration solutions.
- Define integration patterns and approaches for synchronous, asynchronous and event‑driven architectures.
- Contribute to the design of modern data platforms and data exchange mechanisms.
- Support the definition of target architectures, migration strategies and implementation roadmaps.
- Design, develop and maintain integration services, APIs and data pipelines.
- Contribute to the implementation of real‑time and batch data exchange solutions.
- Support the deployment, monitoring and operationalization of integration components.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, reliability and performance requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Gather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical recommendations.
- Produce high‑quality documentation, architecture diagrams and presentation materials.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Contribute to client assessments, recommendations and transformation initiatives.
- Promote best practices in integration, data management and software engineering.
- Support knowledge sharing and the development of reusable assets and methodologies.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Accelerate development, testing and documentation activities.
- Support the analysis of incidents, logs and performance data.
- Improve productivity while maintaining strong engineering and quality standards.
- Critically evaluate and validate AI‑generated outputs.
- 5+ years of experience in application/data integration or related disciplines.
- Experience delivering projects in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience in banking, financial services or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Experience contributing to large‑scale transformation or modernization initiatives.
- Experience designing and supporting business‑critical systems.
- Strong understanding of most part of the following items:
- Application and data integration principles
- API design and management concepts
- API management platforms (e.g. Gravitee or equivalent solutions)
- Event‑driven and microservices architectures
- Event streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka)
- Enterprise integration patterns
- Integration platforms (e.g. Talend ESB, Apache Camel or equivalent)
- Batch and real‑time data processing approaches
- ETL/ELT concepts and data transformation techniques
- Data security, access management and compliance principles
- Cloud‑native and containerized environments
- Programming languages such as Python, Java or SQL
- Container platforms (e.g. Open Shift or Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
- Pragmatic and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Autonomous, proactive and collaborative working style.
- Fluent in French and English.
