Freight forwarders in DSV act as a proactive interface between the customer and all relevant internal and external service providers.

• Control, organize and monitor the entire transport process (pick up until delivery) as well as invoicing.
• Actively communicate with customers, DSV offices, agents, sales, subcontractors and carriers in the daily business.
• Accept customer orders and review all shipment and order‑related data and documents, recording orders (e.g. IMO/DGR Certificate, Country Regulations).
• Monitor job costing and profitability.
• Process vendor invoices according to the instructions of the Senior Team Lead and valid working instructions.
• Work on and resolve operational problems and issues, handling escalation management according to matrix specifications.
• Ensure quality by following and respecting the specified processes and SOPs.

• Functional know‑how in Air Freight.
• Experience in an international environment.
• Team player.
• Good communication.
• Customer focus – monitors customer expectations continuously and adapts activities and procedures.
• Planning & organizing – ability to prioritize, plan, assign and control.
• Time management – monitoring performance against deadlines and milestones.
• Knowledge and training on Good Distribution Practice concepts and applicable SOPs.

• Commercial apprenticeship.
• Relevant work experience.

• Fluent in English and French.
• German is an asset.
