The Rigging Services Technician is responsible for the successful execution of all rigging elements and ensuring compliance with company and PLASA standards. The Rigging Services Technician is charged with delivering unmatched customer service and providing unmatched client satisfaction.

• Ensure all event and rigging elements are executed according to company standards
• Assist with the rigging of overhead stage equipment including lighting, sound, automation, scenery and props, as needed
• Comply with all company security and safety protocols
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Inspect all rigging and audio‑visual equipment; notify supervisor immediately if damage or unsafe situation exists
• Ensure any lost, stolen or damaged equipment is immediately reported to supervisor
• Look for opportunities to enhance client’s event experience
• Provide continued communication with management to ensure success of all events
• Follow through on all client requests
• Ensure all company occupied areas are clean, organized and up to company standards
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum three (3) years’ production/theatrical rigging experience
• Prior exposure to audio‑visual and/or hospitality industry
• ETCP certification and/or Aerial Work Platform Certification preferred

• Strong technical aptitude, including the use of rigging equipment and electric motors
• Planning ability; able to plan and prioritize
• Adaptability; able to adapt effectively to change
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong team player orientation
• Commitment to best‑in‑class customer service for internal and external stakeholders
