Job Description & How to Apply Below
About the Role

Yona Capital Management is a Miami Beach–based investment firm managing a multi-million-dollar fund focused on tax lien certificates. We are looking for an Investment Analyst to help us analyze opportunities at county auctions and in secondary market offerings, and to make sure every deal meets our due diligence standards before capital is committed.

For each opportunity, you will set “bid up to” values that reflect the value of the tax lien and the underlying property collateral. You will work closely with our Chief Investment Officer (CIO), answer questions, refine valuations as needed, and submit bids at the CIO’s direction. This role suits someone who enjoys numbers, real estate, and quick decision-making with real capital at stake.

What

You’ll Do
  • Attend in-person and online county tax lien and tax deed auctions (occasional travel may be required)
  • Carry out bidding strategies based on set criteria, budgets, and yield thresholds
  • Monitor auction activity and adjust bids within approved parameters
  • Record all bids, wins, and results accurately in real time
  • Submit post-auction reports, documentation, and receipts on time
  • Coordinate with the team on auction outcomes, redemptions, and follow-up actions
  • Follow compliance requirements, bidding limits, and company protocols strictly
What You’ll Bring
  • Availability to attend in-person and online county tax lien and tax deed auctions
  • Ability to manage assigned capital responsibly within strict limits
  • Confidence making quick decisions in fast-paced auction environments
  • Strong quantitative skills and an affinity for numbers
  • Proficiency in Excel, with a sharp eye for patterns, errors, and outliers
  • Comfort working across multiple computer windows and data sources at once
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A high degree of reliability, responsibility, and independence, with a record of meeting deadlines
  • A genuine interest in real estate and investment management
Nice to Have
  • Experience and success with tax lien certificates and tax deeds
  • Real estate underwriting experience, for example at a real estate company or financial services firm
  • Experience manipulating large data sets
What We Offer
  • Salary of $60,000 – $120,000, based on experience, and/or equity
  • 20 days of paid vacation per year
  • Career growth potential
