Caregiver Coral Gables

Location: Coral Gables, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Compensation: Based on experience

We are seeking a compassionate, attentive, and respectful Caregiver/Personal Assistant for an independent elderly woman living in an assisted living community in Coral Gables. The client values her independence but appreciates gentle support and companionship from a caring professional who knows when to step in and when to give space.

• Provide one‑on‑one companionship and emotional support.

• Assist with personal care, including bathing and grooming, while maintaining dignity and independence.

• Help organize and maintain a tidy living space (light housekeeping, laundry, organizing personal items).

• Monitor and remind client of daily schedule, appointments, and medications.

• Assist with meal prep or coordination of meals as needed.

• Escort to activities or appointments within the community or nearby.

• Take and record blood pressure and report any concerns to family or healthcare providers.

• Communicate effectively with family and facility staff when necessary.

• Prior caregiving or personal assistant experience (experience in senior care preferred).

• Knowledge of basic health monitoring, including taking blood pressure.

• Warm, patient, and professional demeanor.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect personal boundaries.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable in an assisted living environment.

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.

• Experience supporting independent seniors.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
