Responsible to set up and break down bars, maintain product and equipment throughout event and maintain organized and clean bar.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following:- Set up Bar according to BEO
- Assist Bartender in setting up bar
- Ensure all appropriate equipment and product is in place at function for bartender
- Display appropriate product and glassware as instructed by captain
- Display appropriate décor as instructed by captain
- Verify product and quantities as appropriate for the function
- Be familiar with BEO and group information
- Maintain product and glassware throughout function as well as any other bartender needs
- Ready for service 15 minutes prior to start time on BEO or as instructed by captain
- Communicate with guests to obtain drink order
- Prepare beverage as per guest request or department standard
- Keep bar clean and organized free of dirty glassware, trash etc…
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to work independently or in team environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, and guests.
- Relevant experience in a high quality, high volume catering and convention environment.
