We are seeking a Pool & Beach Manager to lead one of the most iconic oceanfront experiences in Miami Beach. PositionSummary
The Pool & Beach Manager is responsible for the overall management, service standards, and financial performance of the hotel’s pool and beach operations. This leader will oversee daily operations, staff performance, guest experience, and compliance with brand and safety standards while creating a distinctive, elevated atmosphere aligned with the W brand.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all pool and beach operations, ensuring seamless, high-end guest experiences
- Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate pool and beach staff, including attendants, servers, and supervisors
- Maintain exceptional service standards while fostering a fun, vibrant, and safe environment
- Oversee daily setup, cleanliness, and maintenance of pool and beach areas
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, and Recreation teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor labor costs, payroll, and departmental budgets to meet financial goals
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and lifeguard regulations
- Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Drive revenue opportunities through cabana service, daybeds, events, and experiential activations
- Support special events, seasonal programming, and brand activations at the pool and beach
- Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in luxury resort, hotel, or lifestyle hospitality (pool / beach or F&B preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams
- Proven experience in guest service excellence and high-volume operations
- Solid understanding of budgeting, labor management, and cost controls
- Knowledge of beach and pool safety standards and local regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Marriott or lifestyle-brand experience is a plus
