We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Catering Director who will be an integral leader at the newly renovated Royal Palm South Beach Miami — re-opening in 2026 following a transformative $110 million reimagination of the resort. This position will play a major role in shaping how meetings, celebrations, weddings, and social experiences are sold, curated, and delivered within a new benchmark of premium lifestyle hospitality, cultural immersion, and social connectivity — in the heart of Miami Beach's most iconic destination.
Located at the intersection of Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive, the Royal Palm offers direct access to white sand beaches, the boardwalk, and the vibrant shopping, dining, and entertainment districts that define South Beach — from Lincoln Road to Española Way. Rising 17 stories above the shoreline with 404 redesigned rooms and 20,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space, the Royal Palm will set a new standard for high-impact gatherings, anchored by innovative culinary programming, trend-driven modern cuisine, and elevated social energy.
This role will be central in commercializing that vision, driving catering revenue performance, and ensuring every event reflects the hotel's elevated lifestyle identity.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus
- Experience in catering or event management, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Strong leadership presence with team development experience
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic mindset with strong business and financial acumen
- Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends/holidays as business demands
