CPS Outdoors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead large‑scale commercial pool and water feature projects. This role is responsible for managing all phases of construction—from permitting and pre‑construction through final client turnover—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial pool and water feature projects through all stages: permitting, planning, construction, and closeout.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field teams to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Oversee jobsite logistics and daily operations including excavation, structural, plumbing, electrical, and finish work.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and client representatives to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
  • Conduct on‑site inspections to verify progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Prepare project documentation including RFIs, change orders, daily reports, and submittals.
  • Forecast and coordinate billing in conjunction with Estimating and Accounting departments.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Supervise and evaluate field staff performance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management (pool, water feature, or civil/mechanical experience preferred).
  • Strong ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of jobsite logistics, multi‑trade sequencing, and commercial construction methods.
  • Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and billing.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.).
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
