Position Overview:

V&E Hospitality Group is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Dishwashers. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are consistently clean and ready for use. Key Responsibilities:

Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.

Kitchen Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area by regularly emptying trash, cleaning food preparation areas, and ensuring equipment is clean and in good working order.

Utensil and Equipment Sorting: Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in an organized manner for easy access by kitchen staff.

Assist Kitchen Team: Provide support to kitchen staff as needed, including helping with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks during busy periods.

Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.

Inventory Control: Monitor and report any shortages or issues with dishwashing supplies and equipment.

Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Dishwasher in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment and follow safety protocols.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical qualifications:

Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively.
Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.
Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions.
