Shift Availability: 24-32 hours per week (evenings required). Hourly Pay Rate: $16.50/hr location: 550 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
About the Role:
As a Retail Sales Associate at Curaleaf, you’ll be the face of our brand and the go-to expert for customers, helping them explore our cannabis products and delivering top-tier service with every interaction. You’ll help create a welcoming, informative, inclusive, and engaging experience, assisting guests in finding the right products and building trust with Curaleaf.

What You’ll DoCustomer Experience & Teamwork
- Greet and assist all guests in a warm, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Build strong connections with customers, ask thoughtful questions, and offer personalized product advice.
- Address concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Encourage loyalty by signing guests up for rewards programs.
- Collaborate with your team to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and upbeat atmosphere.
Operations & Store Standards
- Open and close the store, handle cash, follow all procedures and regulations.
- Check IDs, update customer profiles, and process transactions accurately.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and stocked, from the sales floor to the backroom.
- Support inventory tasks like restocking, fulfilling online orders, and counting products.
- Meet and strive to exceed daily sales goals by upselling, building trust, and applying product knowledge.
- Highlight deals and complementary items at checkout to boost satisfaction.
- Stay informed about promotions and product updates to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Remain agile in a fast-paced retail environment and take on extra duties as needed to support the team.
What You’ll Bring
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role with a focus on service and satisfaction.
- At least 6 months of experience using POS systems and handling cash accurately.
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a team within a compliance-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with customers and team members.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new tools for daily operations and customer engagement.
- Positive, proactive mindset when resolving customer issues and a focus on guest experience.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Initiative, a team-first attitude, and readiness to support store leadership.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain lasting customer relationships.
Even Better If You Have
- Experience in a sales role with KPI tracking and sales targets.
- Familiarity with e-commerce systems and order fulfillment.
- Experience in a regulated retail setting.
Physical Requirements
The role requires standing for extended periods, walking, speaking, and manual tasks. Light lifting (up to 25 pounds) and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. Visual acuity for reading and close work is needed. The position may involve allergens typical of a retail cannabis environment.
