Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.

Responsible for and supervising inventory control of received goods, stock goods and merchandise for the Retail Operations. To include verifying that quantities received, matching bills of landing, purchase orders and other documents. In addition to maintaining ongoing and proactive communication with key partners about new arrivals, order overages and shortages, and delivery delays.

• Receive merchandise and provide courteous and competent services to outside vendors, customers, delivery personnel, etc.
• Reconcile, match, and summarize merchandise received with invoice.
• Verify invoices and update merchandise items.
• Participate in physical inventory and cycle counting activities as required.
• Input inventory items in computer system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Supervising receiving clerk for smooth functionality of all activities and the compliance related to the same, delegating, supervising, and evaluating the workings of receiving clerk.
• Providing necessary training for appropriate management of merchandise.
• Conduct entire inventory process (including all use of Dataworks to start, count and run variance)
• Maintain proper stock levels of all supplies to include boxes and bags at the offsite warehouse and Redrock.
• Scanning all packing slips on received purchase orders to corporate office
• Maintaining communication with management regarding discrepancies and merchandise returned.

• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Ability to operate office equipment (i.e., computer, 10-key, copier, fax, and telephone).
• Computer literate in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
• Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
• Specific knowledge of Dataworks, Resort suites, and Redrock.

• High School Education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous Inventory experience preferred.

Work is performed in designated areas of the hotel. Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.

Requires mobility. Requires prolonged standing and walking. Ability to grasp, lift, and carry supplies weighing a maximum of 50 pounds. Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors. Normal vision and hearing range. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
