Brighter Days Academy is seeking a caring, dependable lead preschool and VPK teacher to join our team full time. This position involves working with children ages 1–7 and supporting their learning, development, and daily care.
Responsibilities:- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom.
- Support positive behavior and children’s social and emotional development.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, toileting, and rest time as needed.
- Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers.
- Follow center policies and applicable child care requirements.
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children.
- Valid VPK Certification
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and teamwork skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a dependable work ethic.
