Position: Cage Cashier (FT)

JOB SUMMARY

Calder Casino is a fun place to work! We are devoted to creating Winning Experiences for our teammates, guests, and partners. As a Cage Cashier you will assist our guests with various cash transactions. Experience with maintaining and balancing a cash register is preferred for this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Cage Cashier is responsible for the redemption of Slots tickets/vouchers, redemption of chips, performing Check Cashing/Cash Advance transactions for guests and assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.

  • Responsible for cashing customers out, giving correct change, and answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift. Assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.
  • Keeping cash drawer balanced and inspected. Making exchanges with vault.
  • Verifying and documenting personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.
  • Completing CTRs, W2

    Gs, and MTLs.
  • Responsible for customer relations. Ensure safety and security of employees and customers.
  • Fill‑in as a Main Banker when necessary (refer to Main Banker’s Job Compendium).
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with cashiering or banking is highly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
