Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Accountant to support complex accounting operations, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and manage financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have public accounting experience, CPA certification, and expertise in technical accounting areas such as lease accounting (ASC 842) and derivatives (ASC 815).

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and assist in technical accounting research and policy implementation.
• Oversee lease accounting (ASC 842) and stock compensation accounting.
• Manage accounting for derivatives (ASC 815), goodwill, and intangible assets.
• Coordinate UK statutory audits, working closely with external auditors (BDO, PwC) to ensure timely reporting and deliverables.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting and external partners on financial statement preparation and audit coordination.
• Lead 401(k) audits, partnering with benefits teams and third-party vendors.
• Provide regular project updates and ensure timely completion of key accounting initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification required.
• 4+ years of technical accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 preferred, second-tier acceptable).
• Strong experience in lease accounting (ASC 842) and financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with derivatives (ASC 815), stock compensation accounting, and goodwill/intangibles preferred.
• Excellent project management skills with experience coordinating 401(k) audits and statutory reporting.
