We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting. This role is critical to supporting day-to-day financial operations, job costing, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with company and industry financial standards.

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Process and track project-related expenses, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments.
• Use Procore to manage financial documentation, cost tracking, and billing for multiple construction projects.
• Assist with job costing, budget tracking, and monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare and issue progress billings, lien releases, and payment applications in accordance with contract terms.
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and applicable regulations.
• Support CPA or accounting team during audits, year-end close, and tax preparation.

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in Procore, and experience with accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, or Viewpoint.
• Solid understanding of job costing, contract billing, and construction pay applications.
