Accounts Payable Specialist

REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full-cycle AP across 40+ real‑estate, investment, and joint venture entities. The role partners closely with the controller, property management, and a LATAM-based accounting team to ensure accurate, timely vendor payments and clean financials in a fast-paced real‑estate environment.

Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

• Process high-volume vendor invoices; review for accuracy, coding, approvals, and documentation
• Enter invoices and manage payment runs (ACH, wire, checks)
• Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and payment terms
• Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger; support month-end/year-end close and accruals
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Coordinate cash availability and track credit card expenses
• Assist with bank/credit card reconciliations and 1099 preparation
• Maintain AP documentation for audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Partner with property management on recurring expenses, contracts, and construction invoices
• Support AP process improvements and system enhancements
