Senior Corporate Accountant

Leeds Professional Resources is offering a pay range based on skills and experience.

Base pay: $95,000.00/yr - $/yr.

We are working with a publicly traded company headquartered in Miami and helping them in seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, month‑end close, and compliance, offering strong visibility and growth within a dynamic, fast‑paced organization.

• Lead month‑end and quarter‑end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support SEC reporting (10‑K, 10‑Q, earnings support) and external audits
• Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new standards
• Partner with FP&A, tax, and internal audit teams on cross‑functional initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls
• Support process improvements and accounting efficiencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–7+ years of corporate accounting experience, ideally within a public company
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with SEC reporting and SOX controls
• Proficiency in Excel and large ERP systems
• Detail‑oriented with strong communication and time‑management skills
