Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
OverviewWe are partnering with a real estate development and property management organization seeking a Property Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting for a residential portfolio. This is a hands‑on role requiring prior property accounting experience and strong system proficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full‑cycle accounting for assigned residential properties
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Post journal entries and support month‑end close
- Review operating results and investigate variances
- Partner with property management on accruals, budgets, and reporting needs
- Maintain accurate records and data integrity within Yardi
- Support audits and ad hoc accounting requests as needed
- Prior property accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of general ledger and close processes
- Solid Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
