Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

An opportunity based in Miami, FL, is available for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to play a key role in supporting a property management’s financial operations. This position involves preparing reports, resolving discrepancies, assisting with payroll, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

• Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, and payment.
• Generate and reconcile reports to ensure financial accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Support payroll preparation and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accounting best practices.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting functions.
• Proficiency with Buildium or other accounting/property management software is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related office software.
