Staff Accountant

We are partnered with a growing hospitality company in Miami that is looking for a Staff Accountant
. They are an outstanding business that is growing at a strong rate. This is an excellent opportunity for junior-level candidates to grow organically within an organization and be exposed to a range of functions as they develop.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$65k - $73k

The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. There is also an opportunity to be exposed to some financial planning and analysis when working so closely with the company's Manager.

• General accounting duties.
• Assist with month-end closing and year-end closing as needed.
• Financial statement preparation.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries.
• Assist with billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• The Staff Accountant will perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements
• Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.

• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting.
• The Staff Accountant must possess extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with large data sets efficiently.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
