As an Accounting Management Consultant
, you will play an instrumental role in assisting clients with challenging projects to maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
What You Will Work On
Lead month-end close processes, including maintaining the general ledger and sub-ledgers, preparing and reviewing journal entries, conducting balance sheet account reconciliations, and analyzing account variances.Manage operational accounting, reconciliation, and reporting; communicate and follow up with business partners to resolve issues promptly.Ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with GAAP.Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly reports as per client policies and procedures; identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.Review client policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance.What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.Master’s Degree preferred.CPA or CMA preferred.8+ years of experience in public accounting, consulting, or industry.Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, variance analysis, and strong knowledge of US GAAP.Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.Excellent communication and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels, with a strong client service orientation.What You Can Expect
