Position: Senior Accountant – $75-88K Plus Bonus

Job Description — The Senior Accountant will work within the Revenue Accounting team performing advanced financial analysis and accounting functions within the Revenue Accounting Operations department. The functions and tasks are to be performed accurately and efficiently, with continuous improvement through process automation and enhancements.

This role works in conjunction with other teams within our Fortune 500 Client’s Finance, Revenue Management and other department as necessary.

Essential Functions
  • Monthly preparation and posting of complex and adjusting journal entries
  • Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly variance analysis on relevant balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Monthly preparation of analytical reports for Advanced Ticket Deposits, Cancellation Revenue, Deviations, Credit Card Activity and other KPI’s
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports as required
  • Assist in the creation (or updating) of shore side accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist and support budgeting team with their requests related to Revenue Accounting Operations
  • Interact with outside financial auditors and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Other related functions and tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • CPA/CPA Candidate
  • 3 to 4 years accounting/finance experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Skilled in research and problem solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels to maximize results
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use creative approaches to challenges
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills;
