Our client, a growing and well-established organization based in North Miami Beach, is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their accounting and finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting the full accounting cycle and is ideal for a professional with a strong accounting foundation who is looking to continue building technical expertise and long-term career growth.

• Perform full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Support the preparation of financial statements, internal reports, and management schedules
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances
• Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records in compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Assist with audit preparation, including gathering documentation and responding to audit requests
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support operational and financial initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies

• 2+ years of professional accounting experience
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred;
  Finance or related degree considered
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and general accounting best practices
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor with a proactive and collaborative mindset
