Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a Collections / Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage outstanding balances, process payments, and maintain accurate customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

+ Contact customers by phone and email to collect past-due payments.

+ Review AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.

+ Post and apply payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

+ Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, and short payments.

+ Send invoices, account statements, and payment reminders.

+ Maintain accurate collection notes and payment records in the ERP system.

+ Coordinate with sales and accounting teams to resolve disputes.

+ Assist with month-end close and accounts receivable reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of collections and accounts receivable experience.

+ Experience using ERP or accounting systems.

+ Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.

+ Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.

+ Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of accounts.
