- Manage and perform key activities within the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, including cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, intercompany accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring, accrual, reclassification, and adjusting entries
- Analyze account activity and investigate unusual or unexpected variances
- Assist with preparation and review of monthly financial statements and management reporting
- Maintain accurate and complete supporting documentation for financial transactions and account balances
- Assist with lease and fixed asset accounting
- Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities as needed
- Support internal and external audit requests and provide requested schedules and documentation
- Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and other departments to resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Take ownership of assigned accounting areas and ensure deadlines are consistently met
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2+ years of accounting experience
- understanding of US GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
- experience with account reconciliations and financial statement analysis
- Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and other financial analysis functions
- Experience working with multiple legal entities and intercompany or entity-specific accounting
