Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing team in Miami. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong emphasis on revenue accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and analyze revenue entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Monitor revenue transactions to ensure accuracy and proper recognition.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
• Analyze revenue trends and variances, providing explanations for fluctuations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits and provide requested financial information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to revenue accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Miami, FL.
