About the OpportunityAn established Top 10 CPA firm is looking to appoint an experienced Assurance Manager to join its Miami team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA-qualified professional looking to take ownership of client engagements, strengthen key client relationships and continue progressing their career within a well-established public accounting environment.
The role offers direct exposure to Partners, meaningful responsibility across engagements and a clear opportunity for long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assurance engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance with relevant professional standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Lead, coach and develop engagement teams, supporting the growth of junior professionals.
- Oversee engagement budgets, timelines and deliverables, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Review work papers, financial statements and supporting documentation, identifying technical issues and ensuring appropriate resolution.
- Work closely with Partners and senior leadership on client matters, engagement strategy and opportunities to enhance client service.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement processes, strengthen client relationships and support the wider growth of the practice.
- Active CPA license.
- At least 5 years of public accounting experience within Financial Services clients
- Previous experience managing assurance engagements from planning through to delivery.
- Strong technical knowledge of assurance and accounting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, engagement teams, budgets and deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach and a genuine interest in continued professional development.
