Are you an experienced Property Accountant looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to join our thriving team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate properties, including shopping centers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the financial management and reporting of our property portfolio, contributing to the overall success of our business.

• 1. Overseeing the full cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties, including shopping centers.
• 2. Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• 3. Conducting variance analysis and providing detailed reports to management on financial performance.
• 4. Coordinating with property managers to ensure accurate and timely rent roll management and lease administration.
• 5. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, as well as conducting budget-to-actual analysis.
• 6. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• 7. Liaising with external auditors and providing necessary support during audits.
• 8. Participating in special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required.

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting, with a focus on shopping centers.
• 3. Proficiency in General Ledger (GL) accounting systems.
• 4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
• 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• 6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• 7. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• 8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• 9. CPA certification is highly desirable.
