Position: Bookkeeper (Benefits + Bonus)
Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join a company that supplies packaging materials to a broad customer base. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and working closely with a small collaborative team. The role offers a consistent in-office schedule with some flexibility when needed and is well suited for a bilingual candidate who can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

Keys to this Role:

+ Quick Books Online experience is required (Desktop is ok)

+ Bilingual in Spanish and English

Schedule:

9-5 In office with some flex if needed

Location:

Doral (33182)

Salary: $45-$55,000 with a stretch to $60,000

Bonus:
Discretionary based on personal & company performance up to around 8%

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensuring financial transactions are entered accurately and records remain current.

- Process vendor bills, customer invoices, purchase orders, and freight-related charges with close attention to supporting documentation.

- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including payment posting, invoice tracking, and collection follow-up on past-due balances.

- Prepare journal entries, make routine account adjustments, and complete reconciliations to maintain accurate ledgers.

- Use Quick Books Online to record transactions, monitor account activity, and produce standard financial reports for internal review.

- Track costs associated with imported goods, including landed expenses and local supplier charges, to support accurate accounting treatment.

- Maintain organized accounting files and provide administrative support related to financial documentation and office operations.

Requirements

- Hands-on bookkeeping experience in a detail-oriented business environment.

- Proficiency with Quick Books Online; experience with Quick Books Desktop is also acceptable.

- Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank or account reconciliations.

- Ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English.

- Experience in import, logistics, freight forwarding, or product distribution environments is helpful.
