Risk Management Coordinator

Reporting to Risk Management, the Risk Management Coordinator provides administrative support to the Department, related to the continuous assessment and identification of potential incidents, evaluating these to ensure appropriate mitigation.

• Assists in obtaining and reviewing information related to incidents.
• Maintains and organizes incident files.
• Communicates with insurance companies regarding claims.
• Collects, compiles, and /or tracks required information and reports.
• Assists with data entry, data collection, and analysis.
• Creates and maintain numerous databases and excel sheets.
• Communicates with departments to address any gaps identified in reporting process.
• Verifies appropriate video files are retained.

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with detailed knowledge of Excel required.
• Excellent relationship management skills.
• Experience building internal & external relationships, through strong interpersonal and team working skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience in legal, claims or insurance office environment is preferred.

• Minimum one (1) year work related experience in an office setting.
• Experience in a varied health care or related environment, preferred.

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.

• Fluent in English and Spanish
