Position Overview

The Part-time Professional Administrative Coordinator’s work includes organization and preparation of presentations, program materials and reports for the campus; as well as, assists with a broad range of academic initiatives and cultural events on campus.

What you will be doing
  • Works with Director to support and assist with various committees
  • Develops and initiates documents, brochures, pamphlets and materials for campus promotion and advertising of academic programs and other departments
  • Creates and updates content of websites, including text and images, collaborating with the campus departments
  • Serves as liaison between departments on campus and the college to communicate initiatives to the Media Department and other entities
  • Prepares comprehensive reports as needed and handles special research projects
  • Processes department documents or applications as needed
  • Coordinates and assists in development of academic and cultural activities / events and campus wide initiatives as designated by the Director
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of advanced professional and managerial experience
  • All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Possess excellent organization and communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, committees and directors
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
Additional Requirements

The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
