Coordinates a variety of administrative duties in support of the Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity (SCAI) and the staff. Provides customer service to internal and external contacts and ensures inquiries are addressed and resolved. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Students.
Responsibilities- Answers communications directed to SCAI (telephone calls, voicemails, mail, and e‐mails) and engages with those who visit SCAI in a welcoming and professional manner. Serves as first point of contact for students, faculty, staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner for the Office of Student Conduct & Academic Integrity.
- Assists in the day‑to‑day office operations of SCAI.
- Coordinates scheduling of Student Conduct Committee hearings and maintains the Director's calendar.
- Places and lifts relevant holds on accounts as part of the conduct process.
- Assists with background/conduct checks and helps compile and redact materials as needed for office operations and relevant third‑party requests.
- Creates and maintains record retention of the office, including managing proper retention and purging of hard copy files/media and Maxient‑based data per Florida's GS5 Schedule; organization of the office SharePoint drive; and coordinating with other offices when record retention requests are made.
- Serves as the point‑of‑contact for submitting tickets/requests for any infrastructure or technology issues (i.e. updating name plaques, computer issues, key access, etc.).
- Provides administrative and technical support to office personnel in preparation for and during meetings, presentations, and workshops (e.g., creation of Power Points, Zoom, parking coordination).
- Provides departmental support in the Coordinator's absence, including, but not limited to departmental scheduling, purchases, and travel arrangements.
High school diploma or GED and four (4) years office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
