St. Patrick Catholic Parish in Miami Beach, Florida has an immediate opening for a Part-time
Office Assistant/Receptionist to work on weekends at the Parish Office. This employee will be responsible for providing customer service in the spirit of Christian hospitality. Primary duties are answering the phone, greeting visitors and callers, assessing their needs, and directing them to the appropriate party. As a member of the Parish Office, this employee reports to the Office Manager and assists in clerical and administrative duties.
This person may also provide support for the parish accountant and the pastor, as needed. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission and vision of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Qualifications:- Knowledgeable about and supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain focus on and professionalism with people in challenging situations, both in person and by phone.
- Good oral and written English and Spanish communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Proficiency in Outlook & MS Word.
- Excellent organizing and filing skills.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
