Receptionist

Peterson's Harley Davidson of Miami is seeking a full-time Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for all phone calls and will perform clerical and office duties in order to drive company success.

Compensation: $15 per hour.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 10 am–5 pm with some flexibility required. Bilingual – English/Spanish required to communicate with our international customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phone promptly and operate the system accurately and efficiently
  • Handle questions and concerns professionally and courteously
  • Draft correspondences and perform data entry tasks
  • Retain and uphold an organized filing system
  • Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment
  • Distribute mail and run errands throughout dealership
  • Perform other office-related tasks and provide direct support to Office Manager and Title Clerk
What Is Expected Of You
  • Be on time for shift and maintain consistent, regular attendance
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area
  • Keep a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
  • Follow verbal, written and oral instructions
  • Be able to prioritize and multitask duties
  • Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Outgoing attitude and friendly demeanor required
  • Must have reliable transportation and willing to use personal vehicle
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50–75% of the time
  • Frequently ascends/descends stairs to retrieve or deliver items
  • Occasionally move around inside an office to access file cabinets, equipment, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer
  • Occasionally moves boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
