We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Miami, FL area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
About the PositionAs Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspections, diagnosis and repair of undercar components (brakes, struts, shocks, etc.)
- Performing state‑mandated inspections
- Changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts
- Dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires

Qualifications- At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
- Extensive personal toolbox for undercar repairs.
- Preferred:
State inspection license(s); ASE certifications – Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), Brakes (A5).
Physical requirements:
stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance; regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
