OverviewThe Manager, Supplier Insights | Coastal is a data driven, strategic-minded resource that will lead supplier analysis and presentations, analytical commercial projects, the implementation of shopper and consumer strategies, and the development and execution of strategic initiatives for the Coastal Division, focused on Diageo and Moet-Hennessy. The role’s primary focus will be to develop the implementation of category and supplier deep dives that translate into commercially actionable strategies, to drive profitable growth and performance across the Coastal division, while being hands on and leveraging supplier and consumer insights and analytics derived from internal and external data sources.
Primary Responsibilities- Serve as a subject matter expert on the Supplier Insights Team to extract and synthesize information from internal and external data sources, to develop actionable insights and analysis for strategic project needs, with minimal supervision
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the Supplier Insights Team on Consumer and Shopper Insights and how to translate these into actionable insights for the Coastal division
- Serve as the project lead, in support of the Sr. Director, Supplier Insights, Coastal strategic and analytical supplier initiatives
- Drive strategic enterprise-wide projects and initiatives in support of Coastal Senior Executives
- Leverage insights and analytics for the Coastal Division to deliver solutions in support of their business and analytical needs with supplier innovation and new product performance such as category and competitive benchmark analysis
- Partner with the Syndicated Insights team and Corporate Category Insights team on syndicated and shopper data requests, in support of supplier or internal strategic initiatives
- Proactively identify commercially relevant industry analysis that can be leveraged across various levels of the organization, to include key learnings from historical data and actionable insights for outlooks
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the Supplier Insights team on Shopper and Consumer Insights and how to translate these into actionable strategies and growth initiatives for Diageo and Moet-Hennessy.
- Leverage shopper and consumer insights to build selling stories to drive strategic initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience within the consumer products sector, including at least 5 in Bev Alc
- At least 3+ years experience under a Strategy or Commercial Analytics function, with a strong track record of shopper insights and commercial metrics
