Unlike our direct investment “mature seed” stage fund, EPL Group accelerators take an individualized, strategic, and hands‑on approach to launching and scaling early‑stage startups and supporting scale‑ups. Post‑program, the average company grows revenue and user base by 5 and 10x, respectively, and 95% of companies that are fundraising have successfully raised or oversubscribed their rounds. We’re looking for a Startup Mentor to join xpansion

IQ as a part‑time team member solely focused on mentoring 3‑5 portfolio companies. The Startup Mentor will engage in the following:

• During weekly or bi‑weekly meetings, advise companies on GTM, marketing, growth, partnerships, and sales.
• Manage startups alongside our team through the xpansion
  
  IQ Accelerator format.
• Ensure that startups are connected with the right people within EPL Group for tasks they require that a mentor cannot perform.
• Using EPL Group’s infrastructure, record and communicate startup progress, to‑do’s, and other needs.

Mentoring is a 100% volunteer‑based engagement.

• Has 5–10+ years of experience in startups, GTM strategy, pitch decks, sales, growth, and operations.
• Currently holds or has held founder or leadership roles within Pre‑Seed to Series A+ startups or large enterprises.
• Good project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and writing communicator.
