About
The Role
Flow F&B is seeking a highly organized and proactive Culinary Receiver, Distribution & Merchandising to support seamless culinary and retail operations across our multi-location ecosystem—including Flow Station, Flow Grocer, Flow House, Flow Fort Lauderdale, and Flow on the River. This key operations role ensures the consistent flow of goods and ingredients, accurate inventory distribution, and polished merchandising that aligns with Flow’s standards of excellence, sustainability, and presence.
Responsibilities
- Receiving &Quality Assurance
- Receive and inspect all food, beverage, and wellness-related deliveries across designated Flow locations, ensuring alignment with HACCP guidelines and Flow quality standards.
- Cross-reference deliveries with invoices and POs; document discrepancies and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
- Monitor temperature-sensitive items and confirm proper handling and storage on receipt.
- Other tasks: may be called upon to assist with the set up, running & breakdown of events.
- Distribution & Inter-Location Logistics.
- Manage and execute timely distribution of ingredients and supplies between Flow Station, Flow Grocer, Flow House, Flow Fort Lauderdale, and Flow on the River.
- Maintain accuracy in all inter-location transfers using real-time tracking tools or systems.
- Proactively identify potential shortages and communicate with procurement and culinary teams.
- Merchandising & Shelf Presence
- Support daily merchandising of grocery, prepared foods, and wellness goods at Flow Grocer, Flow House, and Flow on the River.
- Restocking of Grocer and grab and go areas.
- Ensure all product displays meet Flow’s brand and storytelling standards, with clean presentation and accurate signage.
- Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to support feature rollouts, seasonal resets, and promotions.
- Inventory Management & Stock Integrity
- Conduct regular inventory counts; track spoilage, shrinkage, and product movement.
- Organize storage areas, implement clear labeling, and ensure FIFO rotation across all locations.
- Uphold cleanliness, orderliness, and food safety across coolers, dry storage, and receiving zones.
- 2+ years in a culinary operations, receiving, or food distribution role—preferably across multi-unit locations.
- Strong working knowledge of food safety, temperature control, and safe handling standards.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communicator and dependable collaborator across culinary, retail, and supply chain teams.
- Ability to adapt to early shifts, weekends, and location-based needs.
