Data Analyst

One of TEKsystems top customers is looking for a Data Analyst.

* * Description
* The Senior Analyst will provide performance measurement and strategic analysis to influence marketing priorities This individual will be responsible for interacting with various departments within the company to find, consolidate & manipulate data from multiple large data sets; to analyze and understand results to provide insights to the business; and to create reports and/or dashboards for the applicable business owners of each cruise brand.

To perform this position successfully, the individual should be a self-starter and be able to complete small projects with little direction. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities

* Analyze and report on the performance of a wide variety of email campaigns.

* Influence business decisions through analytics and identifies actionable, data-driven insights.

* Aggregates large data sets for analysis. Develops data strategies specifically around data structures, identifying critical information, as well as the tools used to retrieve and analyze the data.

* Creates dashboards, automated reports, report templates & presentations. Uses data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to provide an easy-to-understand interface for end users to quickly identify key themes within data.

* Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly reporting on business trends to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree (BA) required with a degree focus in Marketing, Business, Finance or other quantitative discipline preferred

* 2-3 years of work experience required, with experience performing either strategic digital analysis, financial analysis or business intelligence/marketing analytics highly preferred

* Proficiency in SQL with proven ability to manipulate large data sets with a strong understanding of relational databases

* Working experience developing dashboards with advanced data visualizations in Power Bi

* Experience in travel/leisure hospitality preferred

* Ability to work with & manipulate large sets of data and to make tactical decisions with large financial impacts with minimal supervision

* Experience with Excel, Word, & Power Point

* Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification

* Attention to detail required

* Ability to operate in a team environment, with excellent interpersonal skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once in a fast-pace environment

* This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
