Description
This is a non‑exempt position responsible for coordinating services related to family social services, early childhood health, mental health, and disability services for children in accordance with Head Start & DCF requirements. The role collaborates with parents, other staff, and regulatory bodies, ensuring all activities comply with the agency’s policies, State and local laws, and Head Start/Early Head Start performance and accreditation standards.
Catholic Charities reserves the right to transfer employees to any program within the agency based on operational needs, without notice, with transfers occurring at any time and may be temporary or permanent. The incumbent must demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the service population.
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of related experience and/or training (vocational technical certificate) and a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field.
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of related experience and/or training (vocational technical certificate) and ability to obtain a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field within eighteen months of hire.
- Completes 45 DCF training hours within 1 year of hire.
