Family Assistant Live In, Nanny

A formal family of four, in Miami Beach, needs to hire a live-in Nanny/Family Assistant to provide primary care for their infant, though the role will require some assistance with an elementary-age child, as well as lending a hand elsewhere in the home and supporting the Mom.

• monitoring the infant’s developmental milestones
• engaging in age-appropriate activities/play/outings
• diapering, bottle feeding & preparing meals & snacks for the children
• sterilizing toys & bottles
• children’s laundry & child-related household upkeep
• maintaining sleep & feeding schedules
• school drop-off & pick up for the older child
• traveling with the family & ensuring that the children are properly packed
• helping to keep the home tidy (while there are other staff in the home a “can-do” attitude is important for the team)
• assisting with the care of a friendly & well trained dog
• running some household errands and helping with household organization

• Must have a valid driver’s license & passport
• be able to swim
• have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (including infant care)
• CPR & First Aid certified
• be fully vaccinated
• provide scheduling flexibility

Applicants should understand how to operate well as part of a team and in a more formal home where boundaries are important.

The schedule will likely be 50-60 hours a week with 2 days off but the family does require flexibility for late nights and weekend coverage.

Housing is currently a private bedroom and ensuite bath, though they are constructing a new home that will offer more space and privacy.

Salary range:90-100K annually with benefits.
