Construction Estimator

VIP Executive Search is partnering with a leading Florida-based construction firm renowned for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and custom construction projects. The company has a strong reputation for innovation, craftsmanship, and exceeding client expectations across pre-construction, interior build-out, and construction management services.

We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join this dynamic team on-site in Hallandale Beach, FL. In this role, you will take the lead in evaluating project plans and bid specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure accurate labor, material, and timeline assessments. You will collaborate closely with project managers and key stakeholders, contributing to successful project proposals and overall project delivery.

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for commercial and residential construction projects
• Review and analyze drawings, plans, and bid specifications
• Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and availability
• Contribute to project proposals and budgets
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to support project planning and execution
• Monitor costs and provide ongoing financial analysis throughout project lifecycle

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation
• Experience in high-rise construction required
• Proven experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in construction estimation software and related tools
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in both commercial and residential construction is highly desirable
