Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager
The Contract Project Manager owns client-facing site scoping and day-to-day project coordination for the Company's installation projects in the greater Miami area. This role is the primary on-site representative of the Company in front of clients, general contractors, and property stakeholders, and is responsible for translating general construction scopes — including light electrical and plumbing tie-in work — into well-managed, on-schedule project execution.
The Contract Project Manager works closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep sites moving from initial scoping walk through installation and closeout.
- Represent the Company professionally and knowledgeably during client-facing site scoping walks and project meetings.
- Lead pre-construction site assessments to evaluate feasibility, access, utility availability, and installation requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, property managers, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and interpret general construction scopes of work, identifying gaps, risks, or discrepancies before project kickoff.
- Coordinate light electrical and plumbing tie-in requirements with engineering vendors and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with code and site conditions.
- Manage GC and subcontractor scheduling, quality control, and site logistics from scoping through project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Identify and proactively resolve site conditions, permitting issues, or scope changes that may impact project delivery.
- Document site visits with photos, notes, and scope summaries for internal records and client communication.
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant building codes, safety standards, and the Company's quality expectations.
- Support additional site walks, project activations, and ad-hoc coordination needs as they arise.
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, general contracting, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of general construction scopes, sequencing, and terminology.
- Familiarity with light electrical and plumbing systems as they relate to fixture/equipment installations — licensure not required, but hands‑on trade knowledge is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently and professionally with clients, particularly in a client‑facing, representational capacity.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and timelines concurrently.
- Comfortable conducting in‑person site walks and assessments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Proficiency with standard project management and communication tools (e.g., email, scheduling software, photo/documentation apps).
- Based in or near Miami, FL strongly preferred, to minimize travel and enable rapid site response.
- Experience working with beverage, food service, hospitality, kiosks, EV charging, or facilities equipment projects and installations is a strong plus.
- Prior experience acting as a client‑facing representative for a vendor or contractor is a plus.
- OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus given the South Florida market.
- Site scoping walks are conducted professionally and confidently, with clients and property stakeholders consistently viewing the Company as well‑represented and responsive.
- Engineering and Construction scopes are reviewed thoroughly before kickoff, minimizing change orders, rework, and schedule slippage.
- Light electrical and plumbing coordination is handled proactively, keeping subcontractor work aligned with code and site conditions.
- Clients and property stakeholders receive clear, timely updates throughout the project lifecycle, not only at milestones or when issues arise.
- Projects move smoothly from scoping through installation and closeout, on schedule and within budget.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be structured as a contract engagement. Rate to be discussed based on candidate qualifications and project scope.
