Technical Designer & Production Patternmaker

Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technical Designer & Production Patternmaker with strong CAD experience to support our growth, internal pattern library, and Miami based factory operations.
Work Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30am
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in technical apparel design and product development;
Proficiency in CAD software (Lectra preferred), such as Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, Tuka Tech, etc., and willingness to learn Lectra - Develop markers for optimal fabric yield and cutting accuracy
- Troubleshoot digital pattern issues and maintain clean, organized file structures
- Manage and update pattern libraries and variant databases across multiple product categories
- Understanding and mastery of fit, pattern making, grading, fabric performance, garment construction, and manufacturing processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
Spanish is a plus - Ability to translate design sketches and concepts into accurate patterns, tech packs, and measurement specs (in collaboration with the design department)
- Manage and maintain the Style Library, ensuring all grading rules align with company standards
- Collaborate with the design team to approve fabrics, trims, and construction details
- Support the development of new silhouettes
- Passion for precision, problem‑solving, and contributing to a high‑performance environment
Preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Proficiency in Excel
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in fine arts required – preferably in the field of Fashion Design
