The ideal candidate combines traditional news judgment with a sharp understanding of how to craft smart, fast, and engaging talk-show content for Latino audiences in the U.S. This person must excel under pressure, collaborate across departments, and lead with clarity in the control room and during pre-production.

Please note that this is a PEP assignment role with a fixed duration of one (1) year.

  • Write scripts, questions, banners, teases, and other on-air elements with precision and editorial rigor.
  • Request, brief, and oversee news and creative graphics that support segment storytelling.
  • Line-produce live shows for linear and streaming, both in traditional control room and Tricaster environments.
  • Anticipate editorial and production needs, coordinating video, graphics, research, guest elements, and other show components.
  • Lead the show during breaking news moments and adapt rundowns quickly and cleanly.
  • Collaborate closely with assignment editors, reporters, digital teams, production crews, and booking teams.
  • Research topics and guests thoroughly to support interviews and discussions.
  • Guide anchors, contributors, producers, and technical staff throughout the production process.
  • Demonstrate strong news gathering instincts and familiarity with social platforms as real-time information sources.
