We are actively seeking an Event Director for our Miami office.

• Sales:
  Solicit new accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals. This will consist of telephone outreach, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
• Proposals:
  Prepare correspondence to clients, including proposal, agreements, event related documents as well as exceptionally clear internal communication.
• Consult with clients on menu selection, rental requirements and on occasion, venue selection.
• Collaborate with Culinary Leaders in order to custom plan menus and ensure profitability; work with staff to ensure a seamless event
• Networking:
  Attend networking events, industry functions and regularly entertain prospective clients.
• Knowledge Base:
  Maintain a professional knowledge of the event landscape, competitive set and strategic pricing.

• 3+ years’ experience in sales within food & beverage catering, along with a book of business.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, All Seated (File Maker a plus)
• College Degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
• Multi-tasker, strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to travel and work non-standard hours based on event schedules
