News Media Desk Coordinator

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

The Network News team at Televisa Univision is looking for a News Media Desk Coordinator to join our team! The News Media Desk Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all video content has proper metadata for future retrieval for all shows for Network News.

If you enjoy working in a highly technical and automated systems environment, can make quick decisions and provide accurate and clear instructions, this role may be for you.

• Use iNews to copy metadata from rundown to PAM archival system.
• Ingest different video codes for editing process.
• Create sequences in AVID Media Composer for consolidation process.
• Add metadata for all video content.
• Provide creative input, to assist Producers with content for shows.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Communications.
• Basic video editing on AVID Media Composer is preferred.
• Metadata entry experience with AVID Media Composer preferred.
• Prior experience with iNews preferred.
• Common Knowledge of Current Events
• Service oriented and attention to detail.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish communication both written andn
