*** Main Street Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics of London Square
** is looking for a
** Dental Assistant
** to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
*** This position will begin as Part Time with flexible hours, and is expected to transition to Full Time in the new year.***## Responsibilities
* Clinical Support:
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
* Patient Care:
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
* Radiography & Diagnostics:
Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
* Compliance & Safety:
Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
* Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.## Qualifications

* Qualifications:

**
* ** Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
**** or**
* ** X-Ray  & EFDA certification in FL
*** Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
* High school diploma or equivalent
** Dental Assistant
** are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
