Cardiothoracic/Chest Radiologist, MD

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida is seeking a Cardiac/ Cardiovascular/ Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our team of medical professionals to provide expert diagnostic imaging services to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic conditions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach and mentor radiology residents and medical students.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including CCTA, CTA, CT scans, MRI/MRA scans including cardiac MRI to diagnose and evaluate cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
  • Interpret imaging studies and communicate findings to referring physicians.
  • Work closely with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Teach and mentor radiology residents and medical students in diagnostic imaging related to cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology. Subspecialty training and or experience in Cardiac, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Radiology with demonstrated expertise in diagnostic imaging related to cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
  • Ability to obtain and or maintain medical license to practice in the state of Florida.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
